Theater Etiquette

Awhile back I expressed some dissatisfaction about the behavior of some people during my Broadway Across America experience.

I got this link in an email. Now, if people would just read it and take these things into consideration, it would make everyone's experience a bit better.

Knitting at the Grand Canyon

I took two videos while on vacation and visiting the Grand Canyon.

(The sound quality is low, I took these with my digital camera...I'm wanting a video camera sometime)

I took several other videos while at the Grand Canyon. You can visit them on youtube once I get them link.

Gloves 1

I'm using The Knitter's Handy Book of Patterns by Ann Budd to knit some special gloves for a holiday gift for someone's daughter.

The yarn is Claudia Handpaint in a beautiful blue color.

If you have some tips on knitting between the fingers on gloves, I'd love to hear from you. Please leave me a comment on the blog.

Mystery Sock 10

Hey, I attended a "Mystery Sock" meeting at Temptations.

It's a nice experience, knitting together with people.

Holiday Knitting 2008

I started my holiday knitting on Saturday by knitting in public with Cat, Yarmando, Jeremy, and a few others at the LYS. It was quite nice.

The pattern is Balsam by Ilga Leja. I'm using Araucania Nature Wool, a worsted weight yarn in Color 17, Ruby. Paula picked the pattern and the yarn. It's a good knit and the pattern is easy to remember. It's a 16 row repeat.

It's My Birthday!

Thanks for those who have sent well wishes. I appreciate them.

I've been rather busy with helping LadyJulie recuperate after surgery. KnitSB and I spent 6 days over at her place last week assisting her recovery. She's better and still needs a bit of help.

I've been getting a lot of followers on my youtube page thanks to SodaSpill. Thanks. More videoblogs this week.

No, I've not been doing much knitting.
