Colored Pencils Shelf

I think this is an amazing way to be creative. Speed creating. Mmmmm. I'm posting this as a reminder for myself. It could be a very liberating (& frustrating) method to release creativity.

UK-based designer, Dominic Wilcox, started a project called 'speed creating' where he made something every day for 30 days in a row from nothing more than the objects he already had around him. By far, my favorite is this yummy-looking shelf made from colored pencils that have been glued together in two layers and then mounted on wooden pencil box brackets. Check out some of his other projects like the soccer ball smoothie maker over on DesignBoom. [via ohdeedoh]

Love the shelf, but think the soccer ball smoothie maker is just wrong. I'm still thinking about the onion ring fabric though, because I like the overall look, but I think it would reek havoc on any kind of diet I might be trying. I really like onion rings, especially dipped in horseradish sauce. MMMMMM, I 'm ready for lunch. By the way, happy belated anniversary. :-)
