Great Weekend!

I had a great weekend. Friday, we spent time putting together some wire bins for my knitting books and yarn stash. I'm actually going through my yarn and culling out what I don't want from stash. I wonder...can I get people to pay me for stash I don't want.

The M's came to visit and we enjoyed a full Saturday of fun. We ended the day with a picnic dinner at Schiller Park to see a version of Taming of the Shrew. I thought it well done.

Sunday, photographerSteve came to town and enjoyed a gathering at Songferret's house. We had a nice potluck dinner and watched A Room with a View. It was the first time I saw it. This was after I worked at my LYS and saw The Prudence Scarf that maryellen started knitting at Knitters Connection in Jun 2007. She finished it and it is beautiful!

After breakfast on Monday, the M's, knitSB and I spent time talking about our "ceremony." It was quite nice. After a late lunch with LJ, photographerSteve, and knitSB, we had my niece come over and allow us to adopt Sophie, the newest cat in our home. My niece's son developed allergies and we're interested in a new cat! I'll let you know how the other two cope with the addition.

A few more episodes of Twin Peaks watched and many more rows knit on a shaw.

I'm glad that you had such a great weekend. We went to dad and Judy's. Had a great time. I told Judy you may be getting rid of yarn. She said she might be interested if it's cheap. She said she's cheap. LOL

She wanted to know if any of it is wool or natural fibers. She showed me what she's working on. Nice stuff. She is doing more felting. including needle felting.
