Successful Class!

I taught my first knitting class at my LYS yesterday. I was fortunate to have 7 good students that were interested in learning a new pattern. The pattern was put in the schedule as the scallop scarf but I changed the name to Color Wave Scarf.

Barbara Walker's Treasury of Knitting Patterns was a great help for the pattern design. The Chevron Scarf from Last Minute Knitted Gifts gave great motivation for the use of color.

I happened to be in the shop when you were teaching - I was an envious eavesdropper!

I am glad it's over, although I am sure it was a wonderful class. :) It was fun watching you knit the scarves up.... all 6 times. :)

I knew it would be great! I, too, love those scarves you made - very nice colors! See you Monday morning, if not before! Want to get drinks or something in between work and knitting on Monday?
